The Cast -
Me
The Hubby
Jacob (our 21 yr old)
Joshua (our 18 yr old)
Deanna (our 17 yr old)
Cailey (our 10 yr old)
Colin (our 7 yr old)

******************************************

Deanna - (after saying something crazy) It's like my brain has autocorrect and it hates me as much as it does on my tablet.

******************************************

Cailey to Deanna - Your breath smells like a wet frog.

******************************************

Deanna owed Cailey $3 and tried to pay her with only 4 quarters. Yeah, that didn't work out.....
Deanna - I miss the days when she didn't know how to count.

******************************************

When I decorated the house for Halloween, I put a life size cut out of a werewolf on the back on the front door. It was HILARIOUS to watch the kids react EACH and EVERY time they came down the hallway.

Joshua - No! No! You can't have that there! It almost gave me a heart attack!

******************************************

Cailey to Deanna - You are slower than a turtle in reverse.

******************************************

Deanna used a new face mask and scared Cailey and Colin half to death.

Colin - You look like a melting alien!!!

This was after Cailey telling her she needed Pro Active and Colin saying she should try X Out.

******************************************

The Hubby (while scrolling through the cable guide) - What is "King of Eggpie"???

Me - Honey, that says "King of Egypt".....

******************************************

Colin's opinion on Twister -

What the HECK kind of game is that?
What if you wrap your arms around your head and choke yourself?
What if you can't REACH the BLUE!!!
What if you break your leg because you can't put your foot on blue when they say put your foot on blue???

******************************************

That's about it, folks.
I am mending very well from the surgery I had last week. The doctor tells me that what happened to me "doesn't happen to normal people". HA! I had him fooled! He thought I was normal! We know better don't we??? ;)

    1. It is most definitely awful!! LOL ;)
Yeah, I was never a big Twister fan either, mostly because of the short arms and legs thing... LOL

  3. Snort. It's a good thing there are so many years between Deanna and Cailey; they may torment each other, but there shouldn't be any bloodshed.
Loved the werewolf. Sounds like a good annual tradition!
    You're "Fun Mom"!

  4. Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery. Cracking up over "King of Eggpie." Without my glasses on, that is exactly something I would read wrong somewhere!

Yes, that is exactly the reason he read it incorrectly. The man refuses to wear his glasses. SIGH....

  5. My regular physician always tells me I'm weird (medically speaking). I'm okay with that. LOL

You should tell Colin that no one understands Twister... including the people who made Twister. It's a torture device for everyone but contortionists.

  8. Glad you're feeling better. The turtle in reverse saying made me laugh out loud! Colin's opinion on Twister is spot -on. Spot-on. See what I did there? Tell Deanna that autocorrect brain is common for us as we get older ;)
    Happy Thanksgiving, Stacy.

  11. Wet frog? I'm not sure I want to know. I'll be using this line one day.

Your kids are fabulous. I stand by my belief, that your house is an awesome place to be.

    I'm glad your mending well.
My docs all tell me I'm a walking and talking medical enigma.
I'm proud. At least I'm unique.
