Bags of Love and Other News
Well, I have 3 bags made!! YAY!!!! :) Now I am all out of that fabric.
I spoke with our youth director and she is all for getting the youth involved with Bags of Love! YAY!!! This is awesome!! She also had some great ideas about getting more people involved. I am SOOOO excited!!!!
Tomorrow I will be starting on the book and tablet covers for Keri, the contest winner. She picked some really cute fabric!
And at some point this week I REALLLLLY want to start on McCall's M6553 for me! LOL ;)
Ooooh, and that pattern is on sale again.... ;) $4.99.... LOL
And after alllll of that I have an idea for some cute shorts for Colin made out of fat quarters. I will definitely be making a tutorial for that so stick around!!!! ;)
I also need to start thinking about the upcoming school year and what all we will be doing. I pretty much know what I will be doing for Cailey and Colin but the other 2 are up in the air a little. I know what we are doing for math, science and language but the other subjects need to be nailed down a bit more.
So what have YOU been up to???? Any sewing projects going on?
You are getting alot of work done girl.. Love the bags..
ReplyDeletethe upcoming dress pattern looks really cute.. And comfortable.
I am working on a butterick dress pattern.. Moving slow..still battling
this ole asthma..
Happy sewing.
HUGS!!! I bet it's the pollen making it worse. The pollen here has been AWFUL!!!
ReplyDeleteWhich Butterick??? LOL
Very cute and I'm glad she thinks there is someone who can help out! YES!!!! And to answer your question. I have done nothing. I have laid in a drug induced coma since 1900 last night. Even updating has been a struggle, but I have me it to be a daily routine so I push through. I'd rather be putting school tablets and other nummy stuff into those darling bags for you. ;D Think that woul be cost effective. hahahahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteHUGS HUGS HUGS, Lori!!!!!! I wish I knew of a way to help you.
ReplyDeleteI am dealing with a bout of insomnia here... Might help if I remembered to take my meds earlier.... LOL
THANK YOU!!!! I wish you could help out, too!! ;)
Insomnia's my middle here girlfriend. Taking your meds on time might help a little, but so would relaxing after you take it so your body can actually respond to the medicine. lolololo (that's a Lori trick that took a very long time to learn)
ReplyDeleteSo busy you are, how do you pump out so much, you go girl! My sewing seems to have taken a back seat with my grand kids invading my office, sewing, online business space, no cat, the dog I can keep out most of the time. But I do have a swimsuit cut out from a vintage pattern, modern stretch fabric. It will be interesting to see how it turns out once I get to it. Been kicking around an idea on non-profit training and how to start one upor just working with one, that is what my education is in, but that would be a whole other blog site, ha ha.
ReplyDeleteBest of both worlds, Victoria
OOH! I can't wait to see how the bathing suit turns out!!! I have the fabric for one but no pattern and this is one thing I am a little afraid to try without one! LOL
ReplyDeleteGood luck with non-profit training!! That would be GREAT!!!!!!
VERY true. I have a hard time getting my muscles to relax. The muscle relaxer takes a LOOOOONG time to work. I tend to hold myself very tightly and I have to remind myself over and over to stop. :/
ReplyDeletedoes the holding yourself tightly help lessen your pain? i would think it wouldn't, but i don't know much about FMS (is that what you called it?). the muscle relaxers i take seem to not work, even over a long period of time.
ReplyDeleteNope. It actually makes it worse. LOL But it's a habit that I need to break.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's FMS. BLECK!!!
