USE YOUR WORDS - April 2014 - Gus the Armadillo

Today’s post is a writing challenge. This is how it works: participating bloggers picked 4 – 6 words or short phrases for someone else to craft into a post. There once was an armadillo named Gus

who put up a great big fuss.

Sitting under the tree

by his mother's knee

he would cry jumbo tears

at the other armadillos' jeers. 

But he was a nice fella

who always shared his umbrella.

Until the day 

he ran away.

He found some dentures

and had grand adventures.

So I am going to start apologizing to Michelle now...... I promise you I tried! LOL I would think of something great but before I could write it down, POOF, it was gone. This happened 3 or 4 times before I just made myself sit and write something out! And THIS was THAT!! 

I think the pic makes up a little bit for the bad poetry. 

Please, do not judge all the other participants according to MY post!! THEY are actually good!
