The Wilderness

Knoxville 046

Isn't that GORGEOUS??? That is the beautiful view from The Wilderness at the Smokies in Sevierville, TN.  Such beautiful snow capped mountains. SIGH.... I wish we were still there! LOL

Anyway, The Hubby got a call about a job offer in the Knoxville area and we went to check it all out. The owner of the company was staying at The Wilderness for a few days and put us up there as well. It was FANTASTIC!! The kids had an absolute BLAST!!!!

Cailey and Colin LOVED the indoor water park! Deanna loved doing some lifeguard watching (insert eye roll here). Joshua spent most of his time in the arcade!!!! LOL To each his own.... I also enjoyed the water park! The wave pool was awesome. Cailey didn't love that part of it... LOL The waves were a little too much for her, but she enjoyed splashing around the playground.

My favorite part of the whole trip had to be the mountains. I have missed them SOOOOO much. The kids really enjoyed the drive. Cailey was too young to remember our last trip through the mountains and Colin wasn't even born! He had never been to Tennessee!! He is the only one of our 5 kids that wasn't born there. He and I are the only two in the family not born there.... LOL

I wish the trip had lasted longer. We left Thursday morning and got home late Friday night. The drive was a nightmare with the fibromyalgia!

So, anyway, we are entertaining the idea of moving to the Knoxville area.... It all depends on the money. If the money is right, we go. If not, we stay. It's as simple as that.

Wish us luck!!!! :)

  3. Is the house on Pinterest from this visit? I love TN. My brother lives near Cooksville and I would love to move there if we could get the grand kids to follow! Looks like a fun trip even if nothing comes of the job!
