Fabric Finds

I had to run out to Joann's today. I was in desperate need of some notions!! I picked up thread, buttons, bias tape (I can finally finish my blouse) and......

For some shorts for c2!

D has been wanting cupcake pajama pants. :)

AND I found the flannel for my cousin's pajama pants. Nope! Sorry, Amy! I'm  not showing them here! You are just going to have to wait! Hee hee hee hee! ;)

I didn't find anything that spoke to me in the remnants bin. :(

It's been another busy day here. I have been working on the romper but I have been fighting with my sewing machine every step of the way. I think I may ask for a new one for Christmas.  It's not that I don't like this one.. IT doesn't like ME! And it apparently only likes the bobbins it came with. SIGH...... I only have one of those left that isn't warped! Anyway, I should be able to get the romper done and the tutorial up tomorrow.

OH!! The greatest site came across my Facebook page today!! Check this out!!  SewSet.com Lots of free patterns and tutorials. There are some for sell, too.  I think it's going to be a great asset to the sewing community.

Another site that I like a lot is FreeNeedle.com. LOTS of free patterns and tutorials there.

The difference between the two sites is that SewSet lets you upload what patterns and tutorials you want that YOU have created and with FreeNeedle you have to submit to the site and they will decide what to put on there. I have had 7 of my tutorials put on FreeNeedle! And today I uploaded a ton to SewSet. :)

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!!
