I DID IT!! I DID IT!!!

Praise the Lord! I DID IT! I finalllllllllly finished the Retro Butterick '56!!!

SHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are a couple of little things that I need to adjust here and there but other than that IT IS DONE!! And it fits wonderfully!! :)) I cut it a size smaller than my measurements suggested. ;) I'm also thinking about taking the zipper out. It really doesn't need it and I think it messes with the flow of the material. It probably would be fine with something other than a knit, though.

The rest of the day I will be working on an A-line skirt and tutorial to go with it. Skirts are pretty quick sews so I might be able to post the tutorial later tonight! :) YAY!!!!

I am sooooo relieved to have that dress done! It was starting to feel like it would never happen! LOL

    Is it just me or is bright yellow the hot color of the season. It seems like everywhere I look I'm seeing this fabulous color. I found a pair of yellow shoes on a blog today and on another a bright yellow necklace. It's soooo refreshing. Love it, and well done!
