~~*~~HAPPY HALLOWEEN~~*~~

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!!! I LOOOOOVE IT!! I love the weather! The leaves falling from the trees! The hot chocolate! The costumes! And the candy... LOL ;)

BUT my two little ones are sick!!!! WAH!!! Cailey and Colin both have nasty colds. :( First no Halloween party at church because of the Frankenstorm and now no trick or treating!! They are so disappointed! But we are going to try to make it up to them a little. They are wearing their costumes all day and vegging out in front of the TV with Halloween cartoons. After The Hubby gets home from work we are going to go out and buy them some candy. At least this way they will be sure to get their favorites!

I can't believe, with having 5 kids, that this will be the first time this has happened. The older 3 always got sick right after Halloween.

Here are some pics of Cailey and Colin in their mommy made costumes!

Here are the Halloween Rice Krispies Treats and Cailey and Colin made last night.

I think there are only 3 left! LOL

AND I am the very proud nominee of the The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!! Given to me by Shelly Bean at Follow Me Home. You should check out her blog, it is AWWWWWWESOME!!!!!!

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH, Shelly!!!

AND since I have so much going on around here I have been given a reprieve from jumping through the usual award hoops! LOL

Here is my to-do list for today -

Sorting through Jacob's room. (He moved out the other day and left me HUGE mess!!!)

Running donations to the thrift store.

Taking care of 2 sick little ones.

Packers arrive between 8 and 9 in the morning.

Laundry, laundry and more laundry.

And all the other crap that I do everyday....

Heaven help me!!! LOL I'm already tired and I haven't even started on any of this yet! I need a nap just thinking about it all!!!!

  1. Hey you. I hope your kiddos are feeling better soon. It's so hard during the holidays; for them and for you. The costumes are too cute and I'd love to eat those rice krispie treats :)

Congrats on your award and thanks for your kind words. I'm so glad to call you a bloggy friend. Try to take a moment to yourself for some tea and BREATHING! Happy Halloween!

  3. So sorry the kids are sick! Costumes are really cute, meant to say that the other day when I saw them. Good luck with the packers coming. Hectic time but hopefully productive.

  4. Glad you weathered the storm. Praise. Of course, the costumes are cute. Kids beautiful. Guess Colin had rather be called handsome. He is. Take a breather. When my boys moved out you could not tell it from the mess they left. I moved it 3 times before I said "It is in the garage, come and get it or out it goes." (I still have some left. All sound and fury, you know). Take care and take care of youself.

I have the mess almost straightened up!! Just a closet to go through and some mopping. SHEW!!!!! I found a few things that he left behind. I'm going to hold onto them for him. I'm sure he'll want them later on.

  6. So sorry the kids are sick.. So sad that it happened on a holiday.. Cindy's[my daughter] girls were always sick on Easter.. Both of them.. I don't think they ever hunted eggs on Easter.. Cindy would be so upset.. because she looked so forward to it, the girls were little and didn't know the difference.ha. But it's sad, when they know..
They both look adorable in their costumes..Bet Mama will make them feel better, when she comes in with their favorite candy.
Your list sounds way too looooooooooooooong...Wish I were close by, I would help you..
sending prayers for the move..When will you all actually go to Ga? Praying for an easy adjustment for all of you.
Pray the kids feel better soon.

We will actually be leaving either Saturday or Sunday. If they load us early Saturday, we will probably leave then.

They were SOOO happy when we brought the candy in and then Deanna and I painted our faces to goof off with them. LOL
